We have ranked the FTSE 100 companies by their maternity leave and paternity leave packages. Our research has found that the majority of companies offer generous maternity leave packages, with some offering up to a year of enhanced paid leave.

We researched the parental leave packages of the top 100 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange and we found that a fifth of FTSE100 companies offer gender neutral parental leave. 

Being a family friendly employer has massive benefits. The pay off doesn’t just include healthier and happier children and parents, it also leads to greater gender equality as well as sustainable growth. Having family friendly policies is linked to better workforce productivity and the ability to attract, motivate and retain employees.
